Kapseret Disabled Group is a grassroot women-led Self Help Group started in 2007. Our mission is to uplift the welfare of disabled women in Kenya, particularly in the North Rift region through inclusive programs, fostering independence and advocating for their rights. We strive for a society where every disabled woman is recognised, supported and afforded equal opportunities for a dignified and a fulfilling life.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Judith is a disability rights advocate, feminist, and passionate defender of women's human rights. With over a decade of experience as a grassroots development practitioner, she has been at the forefront of advancing the rights of women and girls within indigenous communities in Kenya. Her work spans policy development, governance, and humanitarian response, championing the empowerment of disability groups.

Emma Odongo

Communications Officer

Emma is a skilled communication officer, she uses her expertise in crafting compelling narratives. Emma oversees our social media platforms and spearheads the development of imaginative campaigns aimed at raising awareness and igniting action. With a profound grasp of the communication terrain, She is dedicated to harnessing her abilities to amplify the voices of Disabled and underrepresented communities.
